Ride the Cyclone is a dark comedy musical by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell. It follows six teenagers from the St Cassian Chamber Choir in Uranium City, Saskatchewan, who perish in a freak roller coaster accident.

In limbo, they meet a mysterious fortune teller named The Amazing Karnak, who offers one of them the chance to return to life. Each teen tells their story and pleads their case through songs that reveal their personalities, dreams and regrets. The show balances humour, heartfelt moments and existential themes, ultimately exploring fate, mortality and the meaning of life.

This performance commemorates the 20th anniversary of the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre programme and is presented in collaboration with the Diploma in Theatre Production and Management programme.
