Echoes of the Bay is a breathtaking VR journey to a virtual island dotted with dozens of vibrant boats, each carrying a unique story of arrival and belonging.
Created by LASALLE’s BA (Hons) Arts Management students and VR artist Benedict Yu, this immersive experience blends art, technology and personal narratives, revealing the rich tapestry of Singapore’s multicultural heritage.
Members of the public can join in the event by building their virtual boat and sharing their story. Simply record your story within one to two minutes, and you will be invited to create a virtual boat that represents you and your story. Interested parties should fill in the form here to register their interest.
The event is presented as part of the Singapore Night Festival.
