Lecture / TalkExploring Southeast Asia with... is a series of narrative non-fiction picture books for young readers between the ages of seven and 12.
Each book in the series focuses on one Southeast Asian country as seen through the lens of a national artist, taking readers through the country’s history, the artist’s place within its history, and how art is a reflection of our times.
Besides being richly illustrated in the style of the artists, all books in the series will be accompanied by back matter, which includes the author’s biography, and visual analysis questions to encourage children to think about the content and formal structure of the artworks.
The books will be available at the special launch price of S$11.90 each.
