LASALLE BA (Hons) Convocation 2026

LASALLE College of the Arts will hold its Convocation on 7 August 2026 for BA (Hons) graduands receiving degrees conferred by the University of the Arts Singapore and LASALLE’s institutional partner, Goldsmiths, University of London.

The day will comprise two parts: a University Commencement ceremony, followed by the LASALLE Convocation ceremony, where LASALLE graduands will be formally conferred their degrees.

The University Commencement, the first of its kind in our history, will bring together graduands from both arts institutions under the University of the Arts Singapore.

Graduands are required to attend the full programme of ceremonies from 11:00am to 4:30pm.

All graduands and guests are required to take note of the following information.

Where will the University of the Arts Singapore, LASALLE BA (Hons) Convocation ceremony be held?
The University of the Arts Singapore, LASALLE BA (Hons) Convocation will be held at Singapore EXPO, Hall 1.

What do I do once I reach the venue?
Upon arriving at the venue, please proceed to the registration counter designated for your programme and present the QR code sent to your email for verification. After registering, you will be directed to the gowning station to robe before being ushered into the convocation hall to be seated.

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?
Seating arrangements can be made for guests who require special mobility assistance, please write to [email protected].

Do I need to attend both the University Commencement ceremony as well as the Convocation ceremony?
Yes. The University Commencement ceremony is an integral part of the Convocation programme. Graduands are therefore required to attend the full programme of ceremonies from 11:00am to 4:30pm.

How will I know how to collect my certificate on stage?
A briefing and demonstration will be conducted from 1:30pm to 1:45pm after you have been gowned and seated in the hall. This will guide you through the certificate collection process and the on-stage proceedings.

Will there be a reception after the ceremony?
Yes, a buffet reception will be served after the Commencement ceremony at 12:00pm. All graduands and their guests are invited to attend.

How many guests can I invite?
Due to limited capacity, each graduand will be allowed to bring a maximum of two guests.

Can I invite more than two guests?
Additional guests may be accommodated subject to availability. If you wish to invite more than two guests, please email [email protected] to submit your request.

What if my guests are late?
To uphold the solemnity of the ceremony, guests are expected to arrive punctually and be seated before the ceremony begins. Guests who arrive late will only be admitted at an appropriate juncture in the proceedings to minimise disruption.

If I am unable to attend Convocation, how can I collect my certificate?
Please email [email protected] to arrange for the collection of your certificate. All certificates must be collected by 18 December 2026. Beyond this date, the College shall have the discretion to dispose of uncollected certificates.

How do I collect my photographs?
Photographs may be purchased from Creative District. Please call 8899 6187 or email [email protected]. When you rent your gown, do inform them that you would like to purchase photographs and collection details will be provided thereafter.

What is the dress code for graduating students and guests?
Smart casual.
