This course explores fashion storytelling across multiple platforms, helping you develop the skills to create compelling content for today’s digital and editorial landscape.

You will build your unique writing voice while learning essential fashion writing skills in fashion journalism, brand storytelling, trend analysis and visual storytelling. The course also covers fashion marketing copywriting, social media content creation for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, and professional communication for fashion PR, including press releases and media pitches.

Through practical assignments, you will produce a range of fashion writing pieces and develop a professional portfolio that showcases your versatility. About the trainer

Michelle Zhang

Michelle Zhang is a part-time lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts’ School of Fashion, where she has been guiding degree students for the past five years. An alumna of LASALLE, Michelle graduated with First Class Honours in Fashion Management, establishing the foundation for her subsequent dynamic career spanning over a decade across Singapore and New York City.

Her industry experience encompasses fashion events and entrepreneurship, providing her with valuable real-world insights that she brings to the classroom. Her unique blend of international industry experience and academic excellence enables her to bridge the gap between fashion theory and contemporary industry practices.

Committed to lifelong learning, Michelle is currently pursuing her MA in Arts Pedagogy and Practice at LASALLE.
