Cristina Kountiou

Cristina Kountiou, director of innovation and sustainability at bbase Design Group, has been dedicated to advancing sustainable practices and fostering a circular economy within the fashion sector for over four years.

She has collaborated with global teams on the development of initiatives like the bbverse, a 3D virtual showroom with a future-focused approach to reducing the industry’s reliance on physical samples.

Cristina uses her experience at bbase and as Founding Director of Revive Consulting Ltd Hong Kong to show how fashion leadership bridges the gap between industry and academia. She has spearheaded transformative projects and educational programmes like the Circularity is Fashion Forward course for the Singapore Fashion Council, championing sustainability and innovation in fashion and empowering professionals and students alike to embrace forward thinking.
