The Division of Student Administration is seeking a highly driven Senior Executive to support the day-to-day execution, coordination, and administrative oversight of student activities, leadership programmes, and campus engagement initiatives. This role involves direct interaction with students, cross-functional collaboration, and provision of operational support for student events and activities. This position reports to the Academic Registrar and Director (Student Administration) and the relevant line managers.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, organise and execute College-wide student life activities, including Orientation, Convocation, Student Leadership Programme, community projects and competitions.
- Oversee on-site event operations, manage contingencies and coordinate post-event administrative follow-up.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for the student representatives’ portfolio, providing secretariat support for meetings, including minutes taking and tracking action items.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for student representatives, student life and student development activities.
- Conceptualise and design collaterals for events and announcements to drive student engagement.
- Coordinate improvement initiatives within the Division, including the development and implementation of process enhancements.
- Prepare reports, presentations and statistics/data for management review as required.
- Provide secretariat support for Divisional and ad-hoc meetings.
This role is employed directly by the University of the Arts Singapore Ltd.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an established university with at least five years of administrative experience within a tertiary education environment.
- Candidates with less than five years of relevant experience may be considered for the Executive position.
- Experience in creative industries, tertiary education or student support services would be an advantage.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with event experience preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English with proficiency in Mandarin or Malay would be considered an advantage.
- Proficient in operating with Mac platforms and Microsoft 365.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, independent and a strong team player.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with local and international students.
- Customer-service oriented with a student-centric mindset.
- Appreciation of arts, culture and youth development through education is an advantage.
