The Division of Student Administration is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for the arts and arts education to join us as a Senior Executive to support the administration of scholarships, bursaries and financial assistance.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Senior Executive will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all schemes are administered efficiently, accurately and in accordance with the relevant requirements.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the end-to-end administration of scholarships, bursaries and financial assistance programmes.
  • Review applications and supporting documents to ensure eligibility and completeness.
  • Respond to enquiries from students, parents and internal/external stakeholders received in person, by phone or via email.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports and statistics.
  • Perform secretariat duties for divisional meetings, scholarships and awards committee and ad hoc meetings.
  • Contribute to process improvements and the review of policies and procedures.
  • Assist with institutional events and divisional activities as necessary or assigned such as Convocation, Orientation and Open House.


This role is employed directly by the University of the Arts Singapore Ltd.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an established university with five years and above of relevant administrative experience, preferably within a tertiary education environment.
  • Good written and spoken English. Proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
  • Well-organised with the ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team within tight deadlines and produce accurate, high quality and detail-oriented work.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret, organise and present data and documentation effectively.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information, including personal data.
  • Service-oriented with a student-centric mindset, able to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse student and staff population.
  • Resourceful, proactive, possess excellent follow-through and problem-solving capability.
  • Relevant working experience in administering scholarships, bursaries and financial assistance will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in operating with Mac platforms, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
