The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and learning across our Diploma, BA (Hons), and MA programmes, while playing an active role in fostering the School’s practice-driven research culture.
Reporting to the Head of School and Programme Leader, you will teach into the School’s exciting, diverse and interdisciplinary practice-based and research-led curriculum, with a broad range of subject areas which aims to provide students with exposure to various creative, critical, and contextual groundings and development in expansive—ecologically conscious and socially-relevant—contemporary fine arts practices.
Your key responsibilities include academic preparation, teaching and delivery of research-informed and industry-relevant content to ensure that students’ learning objectives are met. You will work collaboratively with the teams and across the programmes to enhance strategic and organisational plans and ensure that the School as a whole achieves its collectively determined ambitions and objectives.

You will also contribute to the academic development of relevant programmes, work as part of a School’s team, and be involved in specific School activities, projects, exhibitions and other cross-faculty initiatives.
Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for appointment at the Senior Lecturer level. Candidates at this level will demonstrate a strong track record in teaching, research and curriculum development, alongside proven capabilities in programme management, junior staff supervision and an awareness of emerging industry skills.
Applications are also welcome for accomplished academics, including those holding established academic professorial titles, with distinguished records in teaching, research, scholarship and/or creative practice.
