Assistant Manager (Academic Administration)

The Division of Student Administration is seeking a highly driven individual with a passion for the arts and arts education to join us as Assistant Manager for Academic Administration. This position reports to the Academic Registrar and Director (Student Administration) and line managers.

You will be involved in the implementation of a wide range of student and academic administration duties and responsibilities, including student records management, attendance monitoring, examination and results processing, enrolment and progression, statistical reporting, attending to student enquiries, ensuring processes comply with policies and regulations established by the College and providing support for institutional events.

This role is employed directly by the University of the Arts Singapore Ltd.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an established university with at least five years of relevant experience in academic administrative processes within a tertiary education environment.
  • Candidates with less than five years of relevant experience will be considered for the Senior Executive position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and spoken), analytical skills and project management skills with high accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, organised, meticulous and resourceful.
  • Knowledge of statistical reporting would be an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels and independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment, both within the team and across Faculties and Divisions.
  • Ability to appreciate arts and culture, with a passion for the development of young people through education.
  • Ability to embrace a student-centric service culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
