Yuni Hadi

Yuni Hadi is an arts management consultant and programmer, having spent the last 20 years promoting Southeast Asian cinema.

She started out as a Programme Manager for The Substation, establishing many core film programmes and went on to be Commissioning Editor of MediaCorp Arts Central. Hadi went on to lead organisations as Executive Director at ArtsEquator, Executive Director of the Singapore International Film Festival, and Co-Director of Objectifs Centre for Photography & Filmmaking spearheading the Objectifs Films label.

In 2013, Hadi published the book Behind the Camera and co-produced the Cannes Camera d’Or winning film Ilo Ilo. In 2015, The Substation acknowledged her contribution to Singapore cinema with an Honorary Award at the Singapore Short Film Awards.

Hadi is an Eisenhower Fellow and received the United Technologies Corporation Fellowship in 2016. In 2022, she received the Professional Achievement Award by Ramkhamhaeng University’s ASEAN Film Festival for outstanding contribution to ASEAN cinema. In 2025, she served as the Asian Project Pitch at the highly anticipated Bangkok International Film Festival. She is currently Chairperson of The Substation.
