Sezairi Sezali rose to prominence after winning Singapore Idol Season 3 in 2009, launching a career that has since made him one of the region’s most recognisable voices. His self-composed single Sayang (2013) gained popularity in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and he later collaborated with Ricky Martin, Judika and Alif Satar on the Asian version of VIDA for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Signed to Sony Music Entertainment, he was also endorsed as a Fender artist. Sezairi performed The Road Ahead (2021), the National Day Parade theme song, alongside Linying, Shye and Shabir. His second album Violets Aren’t Blue (2022) and third album Self Soothing (2023) further established his artistry, with performances at events including the Java Jazz Festival (2023, Jakarta) alongside Laufey and Cory Wong.

In 2024, Sezairi announced his departure from Sony Music to continue as an independent artist, marking a new chapter in his career.
