Oon Shu An

Oon Shu An is a versatile actress, host and playwright known for her dynamic presence across theatre, film and television. She received nominations for both Best Original Script and Best Actress at the M1–The Straits Times Life Theatre Awards (2015) for her one-woman play #UnicornMoment, which she wrote and performed. She was also nominated for her performances in Chinglish (Pangdemonium) and Mergers and Accusations (2013, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay). 

On screen, Shu An earned a nomination for Best Comedy Performance at the Asian Television Awards (2017) for Meet the MP. Her recent work includes the short film Children’s Day (2025), directed by Giselle Lin, which premiered at Berlinale and was nominated for the Golden Bear. 

She also starred in Tartuffe: The Imposter (2023, Wild Rice) and played Kit Wong, a cabaret singer, in the period drama The Last Bout (2024).
