Khai Hori

Khai Hori is an internationally renowned curator whose career spans leading institutions in Singapore and France. He was Deputy Director of Artistic Programming at Palais de Tokyo (France), Senior Curator at the Singapore Art Museum (Singapore) where he oversaw the national collection for contemporary art, and Senior Curator at the Curatorial Development department of the National Heritage Board (Singapore).

 

Khai’s landmark projects include LOCK ROUTE (2017), Singapore’s first international outdoor sculpture exhibition at Gillman Barracks, which drew 10,000 visitors on its opening night. He has also curated major international exhibitions such as Secret Archipelago (Palais de Tokyo, 2015), Open SEA (Museum of Contemporary Art, Lyon, 2015), and Welcome to the Jungle (Yokohama Museum of Art, 2013).

 

In 2025, he joined the panel of judges for the 15th UOB Painting of the Year competition in Singapore.
