An initiative by the Takifuji Foundation to nurture young artists and promote art in public spaces, the scholarship award gives winning students the opportunity to visit Japan and spend a day at the *CREARE Atami-Yugawara Studio in Shizuoka.
The award draws participants from renowned institutions around the world, including Tsinghua University, Academy of Arts & Design, China, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, France, Stuttgart State Academy Art and Design, Germany, Ewha Womans University, College of Arts, South Korea, and University College London, UK.
