Rohai is a lecturer at LASALLE’s School of Fashion, as well as a journalist who has spent a decade in publishing. Starting as an intern and stylist assistant with various publications in Singapore, he spent 4.5 years as a fashion and lifestyle journalist at Singapore's national broadsheet, the Straits Times, as well as its weekly fashion and beauty supplement, Urban.

As a freelance writer, he has contributed to both international and local publications including Women's Wear Daily, Esquire, Style and Prestige Singapore. Having attended fashion weeks in New York, London and Paris, he has interviewed fashion luminaries such as Victoria Beckham, Karl Lagerfeld, Carolina Herrera and Jason Wu, as well as celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Livia Firth, David Gandy, David Beckham and Eric Bana.

Apart from being the Level Coordinator for the Diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion programme at LASALLE, he is also a consultant on social media and digital content marketing at THE FIFTH COLLECTION, Singapore's leading pre-loved and vintage e-commerce platform.
