Pushing the boundaries of sound, Tan Tuan Hao is among a new generation of composers earmarked to become a contemporary music pioneer in this region.

A composer, conductor and flautist, Tuan Hao possesses solid compositional technique, in-depth music theory knowledge, perfect pitch and excellent research skills. His investigations combine indigenous Southeast Asian sounds with modern western techniques, producing innovative music that is both deep and mature.

He is a conductor, composer, music director, transcriptor and arranger for various arts communities; and is currently a teaching associate for a children’s music school.

A straight-A student from Catholic Junior College, Tuan Hao continued to be a role model as a First Class student in LASALLE’s Music programme. He graduates today with a Diploma in Music and is currently pursuing his BA (Hons) Music at LASALLE.
