Nick Zavior graduated from LASALLE’s Diploma in Music (Jazz Performance), and returned after his National Service to pursue a BA (Hons) Music in Popular Performance.

Having been influenced heavily by 90s R&B music, Nick began to explore its roots in 2010, which led him to acquire the stylistic traits of funk, soul and gospel music. A natural leader and inspiration to staff and students, Nick has represented the College at numerous engagements including 4th of July Celebrations at the U.S. Embassy Singapore in consecutive years, and “On the Waterfront” at the Esplanade.

As lead singer and co-founder of his band Inner City, he has performed at renowned venues and events in Singapore such as Timbre venues, Pump Room, BluJaz Café, SingJazz Club, and Aliwal Urban Arts Festival, to name a few. He currently holds a residency together with Inner City at La Salsa (Dempsey Hill), and plays regularly alongside veterans of the local scene at music venues across Singapore.
