“For me, the opportunity to meet and collaborate with international artists at LASALLE helped expanded the possibilities I can see in my music. It set me free to follow my heart and try different things, be it pop-rock, dance or scoring soundtracks.”

Former keyboardist of celebrated local indie rock band Electrico. Amanda has played with local jazz funk band Throb and percussion band HeartBeat Percussion. In these capacities, she has performed at the many music festivals like Singapore Arts Festival, Baybeats, Heineken Rooftop Party Series and South by SouthWest.

As part of Electrico, she has enjoyed critical success with a nomination of awards like “Favourite Artist” in the MTV Asia Awards 2005, Best Singapore Band at the Power 98 Singapore Music Awards 2006 and 2007, Favourite Local Song (All the World feat. Rivermaya) at the Power 98 Singapore Music Awards 2006 and Most Popular Band at the Motorola Supersyle Music Awards 2007. She shared the stage with international acts like The Bravery, The Posies, Ashlee Simpson; as well as some of South East Asia’s best known acts like Rivermaya, Disagree and Armchair. The band’s synth-rock hit Love in New Wave received widespread airplay throughout South East Asia on MTV Asia and Channel V. And has attracted the interests of resident Zouk DJ Aldrin, dance producer Akien, up-and-coming British producers Matteo ESSE & Sant and Tim Hudson, even DJ Pete Tong.
