In this course, students will take their photographic and writing skills to a new level so that they are able to create compelling and informative essays that combine the power of the image and the word. Students will learn how best to compose a photograph so that it grabs and holds the viewer’s interest and communicates the photographer’s message. Students will also learn how to improve their writing skills so that they can compose clear and compelling text that engages and informs readers.

DSLR with interchangeable lenses preferred.
Photography enthusiasts, prospective art students, semi-professional photographer and/or anyone who is keen on photography.
Open to all intermediate photographers with an understanding of photography fundamentals such as lens aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and depth of field.
