LASALLE College of the Arts invites registered architectural firms with relevant experience to respond to the pre-qualification stage to design an iconic building on a competitive basis.
The scope of works for the project comprises the design of a new block with a gross floor area of approximately 24,000 square metres, to provide for a recital hall, film studio, screening room, lecture theatres, classrooms, galleries, library, flexi space, workshop, studios and other teaching facilities.
The site is located at Short Street/Rochor Canal Road/Prinsep Street. Site area is approximately 5,830 square meters with gross plot ratio of 4.2 and restricted height of 12 storeys.
There will be a mandatory briefing with site-show-around on 3 December 2019 at 10.00am. Attendance is compulsory for all applicants and registration prior to the briefing is required. Interested parties are to meet at the reception counter at Block E Level 1 at 1 McNally Street. Those who unable to attend the briefing/site-show-around will not be allowed to participate in the RFP.
RFP documents can be obtained from our finance division after the briefing. A non-refundable fee of $107 (inclusive of 7% GST) is payable by cash or cheque in favour of “LASALLE College of the Arts Limited” upon collection of the tender document.
Eligibility
The RFP is open to all architectural firms (sole proprietorships/ partnerships or corporations) qualified and licensed to provide architectural services in accordance with the laws and requirements in existence in their respective place of practice. Firms must be registered with Board of Architects in Singapore.
