CHOPPA 2018

The CHOPPA Experimental Music Festival 2018 is the most ambitious festival yet featuring incredible musicians from around Southeast Asia, United States of America and Europe. Presenting exploratory music at the cutting edge of practice, this festival covers a wide range of the sonic arts from the far reaches of electronic music and electro-acoustic improvisation.

Since January 2007 CHOPPA has been a semi-regular series of improvised and electronic music concerts showcasing the experimental music of Singapore and regional scenes by giving a forum for sound artists and musicians to present their work. This festival is presented by LASALLE’s School of Contemporary Music, with support by Goethe Institut Singapore.

This years festival lineup will feature a diverse array of performers from Germany, Italy, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Malaysia and Singapore.
