New! Inspirational Irish Dance

The course will focus on proper Irish dance technique, skills and posture, musical awareness and timing. Beginner solo movements and steps will be taught and participants will be introduced to ceili dancing (social dances such as round dances, 4-Hand Reel etc.), reel and light jig.

About the trainer
Tanya Lynn has been teaching Irish dance in Singapore for the past six years. Her students participated in many public and private events including Chingay Parade 2019 and 2020, Irish Ambassador’s St Patrick’s Day reception, and the annual St Patrick’s Ball organised by St Patrick’s Society. She also represents Singapore at the annual St Patrick’s Ball in Penang and Jakarta. In 2020, her students won 25 medals at the online Irish dance competition held in Hong Kong.
