There are various schemes you may turn to if you need financial assistance. The following are currently open to Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
Bursaries
LASALLE Bursary
The LASALLE Bursary is designed to help current students who demonstrate genuine financial need and hardship. The aim of the scheme is to assist students who need financial assistance to continue their studies at the College.
Interested applicants can download and complete the LASALLE Financial Assistance application form [LASALLE-Financial Assistance Guidelines & Application Form 2010.pdf]. All applications are to be submitted to Division of Academic Administration at LASALLE Campus (Block E, Level 2)

Ministry of Education (MOE) Bursary
Open to Singaporean funded diploma students studying full-time in MOE-funded diploma courses in LASALLE. Students with gross monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than S$1200 are eligible to apply. Quantum of bursary is S$800 per annum and is tenable on a yearly basis.

National Arts Council Bursary
As a student pursuing a degree in arts management, dance, music, theatre or fine arts, you would be eligible for this bursary.
- Amount of Grant: S$4,000 - S$8,000 renewable yearly

Singapore Buddhist Lodge Bursary
This one-year bursary offered by the Singapore Buddhist Lodge Education Foundation is open to you as someone pursuing a full-time diploma in the arts.

The Lee Foundation

The Shaw Foundation
Among the strongest supporters of the arts, The Shaw Foundation offers grants of varying amounts to students like yourself. Loans
Central Provident Fund (CPF) Education Scheme
As a full-time diploma student, you can draw on a maximum of 40% of your parents’ or siblings’ CPF savings (subject to availability) to pay up to 100% of your diploma fees. Repayment starts one year after you graduate or leave the course, whichever is earlier. NTUC Thrift & Loan Co-operative Education Loan Scheme
If you are a member of the NTUC Thrift & Loan Co-operative, NTUC Union or an NTUC Income Life policy-holder, you may borrow up to 90% of your tuition fees through this scheme. For more information, visit www.ntucthrift.com.sg; or call 6534 7360.
Mendaki Study Loan
As a Muslim, you may be eligible for the Loan for Fine Arts. This interest-free loan is open if you are pursuing a full-time diploma course. For more information, visit www.mendaki.org.sg; or call 6245 5817.
Chinese Development Assistance (CDAC) Study Loan
This three-year loan is open to you, if you are a Chinese student pursuing your diploma in design, fine art or multimedia art. For more information, visit www.cdac.org.sg; or call 6841 4889.
Bank Education Loan
You may obtain a loan from the various commercial banks. Contact them directly for more information on their respective study loans.
