There are four levels in the Certificate in English Language for the Creative Arts Programme. You can enter the Programme at any of the four levels providing you meet the entry requirements for that level. You can take a language placement test to determine your level of entry to the Programme or submit your IELTS or TOEFL score.
You will attend 20 hours of classes a week and will be expected to undertake a further 15 hours of directed self-study each week.

Note: GCE ‘A’ Level Art/Art Elective Programme or International Baccalaureate (IB) Art & Design are not required subjects but represent the portfolio standard for eligibility into LASALLE BA(Hons) programmes.
Portfolio & Interview Requirements
All applicants are required to submit a portfolio and attend an interview.
Write a summary of a recent encounter with the arts, for example by making reference to, but not limited by, a movie or book you have watched or read recently. Create a portfolio containing minimum 15 pieces of original work. Provide a short description of each of your works.
Your portfolio may include, but is not limited to, the following: Drawings, collages, design work, digital work, craftwork, paper structures, photographs, videos, sculptures, paintings, poems, prints, animation, storyboards, etc.
Your portfolio should consist of works created solely by yourself (not from a photograph, magazine, or copied from a reproduction of another source).
During the interview applicants are required to participate in a discussion about the content of their portfolio.
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:
- Readiness to participate in different learning environments.
- An inclination to learn through exploration and experimentation.
- A keen interest to acquire knowledge of the Visual Arts.
- Good studentship i.e. time management, independent, learning integrity, etc.
